11 September--Registration, John Muir Talk, and First Formal Walk.  2:30 pm, Boyd 001

01 October--The sixth annual "Keeping You, Me & Memories Alive/Cancer Walk will be held noon to midnight at the PSU PE Center. Entertainment, karaoke, silent auction, food, family fun and more! Keeping You, Me & Memories Alive is a non profit organization and we are counting on you to help raise money to support area individuals and families who are in need due to Cancer. Hope to see you all there and help us make this year a great success! This event is sponsored by another group, but it looks like a good event to participate in. If you walk from noon to midnight, you will surely get lots of steps.  Double your steps if you participate in this event.

15 October--Dedication of the spur trails to the top of Plymouth Mountain. Event starts at 10 am at the trailhead.

23 October--Short hike to the top of Rattlesnake in Rumney, NH.  Meet at the Plymouth Town Common at 1 pm or at the trailhead on Buffalo Road at 1:20 pm. Counts as a formal group hike (2.5 x steps)

30 October-Loop hike up Welch/Dickey Mtns. in Thornton (4.4 miles).  Meet at the Plymouth Town Common at 1 pm or at the trailead in Thornton at 1:25.  Counts as a formal group hike (3 x steps)

6 November--Loop hike at the Smarts Brook Trailhead. We'll go up the Yellow-jacket trail and come back to the parking lot via the Smart's Brook Trail. Counts as a formal group hike (3 x steps)

13 November--CROP walk.  This will be the final event of the fall walking program and the kick-off event for Hunger Week at Plymouth State University. The walk will starting at noon. Since the members of the Congregational church have a church luncheon at 12:30, there will be a special edition of the walk at 2:00 (or whenever the luncheon ends). PCC people should contact John Anderson at PCC, otherwise contact Preston Fuller (plfuller@mail.plymouth.edu) (3 x steps)

13 November--Last Walking Day, end of program.  Please get your step totals in as soon as possible to organizer

20 November--7:30 am, breakfast for all at the Plymouth Congregational Church-UCC, awards ceremony

TBA--Tentative. Book discussion meeting. "Reconstructing John Muir:  What does his book say about him as a person and about his experiences?" Time and place details will be forth coming.
